2025 Spray Schedule

The Mosquito Abatement District will be conducting a night spray Thursday, June 5th 2025 starting at 8:30 p.m. The areas to be sprayed will be various sections of both Barberton and Norton. The locations are areas we have noticed an increase in the amount of mosquitoes we have trapped. As with any sprays to be conducted, this schedule could be cancelled due to weather conditions such as rainy conditions, winds over 10 mph or cool temperatures. Spraying will be conducted in accordance with all applicable laws, rules and proposed EPA regulations, specifically when:

Weather is absent of rain

Winds are less than 10 mph

Temperature is 50* or above

We urge those with health concerns, along with those who maintain apiaries, should take the necessary precautions. Call our office at 330-848-2623 with any concerns.

IF SURVELIENCE LIGHT TRAPS CONTAIN LESS THAN 20 MOSQUITOES, SPRAYING MAY BE CANCELLED FOR THAT WARD

SPRAYS ARE CONDUCTED THURSDAY EVENINGS and NIGHTS UNLESS NOTED

When needed, spraying may be conducted on any morning but no later than 8 am.

If unable to spray on the scheduled date, makeup spray will be on the following Monday if weather permits.
